OUR STORY
Beth owned and showed two Morgans with her sister as teenagers. Those Morgans, Gambled and Lost, and DAF Prince Phillip, were instrumental in building her love for the breed. During college, she focused on showing her Saddlebred. Andy and Beth relocated to Erie, PA in 2010 and joined Corinthian Stables. In 2018, we purchased Morgan Valley Eyes on You which brought us back into the Morgan world. We showed lightly in 2019. During this time, Andy was interested in purchasing a young Morgan to ride. By fate, Beth met Lori Sargeant whose farm is in Ohio. We looked at her sales offerings and decided to purchase her mare, Chavalita, who was in foal to MI Black Ice. At that point, we were all in! We stepped away from the show circuit in 2020 and relocated to Meadvile, PA. In 2021, Andy learned to ride western and showed Twiggy at several local shows. We built our main barn in 2022 and look forward to the construction of our arena this year. For the 2022 season, we leased and showed TFF Seastrong, a 5-year-old stallion owned by Lori Sargeant.
ABOUT HOLLOW PEAK STABLES
After purchasing our first broodmare, Chavalita, we realized we needed a stable name and corresponding prefix so our foals could be easily identified. In 2020, we had the opportunity to purchase a small property to build our farm. We brought our horses home to our temporary barn in 2021. Our main barn was built and finished by Knepp Buildings in 2022.
